Exploring Zen Hideaway 2: Open-Air Teak Villa, Jungle Swing left me utterly unimpressed. This presentation felt like a flashy waste of time: all clicking and spinning, with none of the straightforward clarity I wanted. Zero stars for this browsing experience.

The virtual preview of Zen Hideaway 2: Open-Air Teak Villa, Jungle Swing was maddening. I wanted a simple overview for my Abiansemal plans, but the whole experience felt overcomplicated and exhausting. I would rather close the tab than wrestle with another scene.

I found the tour for Zen Hideaway 2: Open-Air Teak Villa, Jungle Swing painfully tedious. The presentation tries far too hard to impress, and for me it falls completely flat. More spectacle than useful browsing; absolutely not my idea of a helpful preview.

Sheets were not white but a dirty white and old, they did not even fit the bed properly due to the poor elastic at the corners as with our small movements, they would come undone from the elastic. Towels were not enough for 6 guests and on the 1st day we asked for clean towels, only to find that they had folded our used ones and put them back in the same basket pretending that they were new. In fact, the next day, which we did not use as we left the property after 2 nights instead of 3, the towels were in plastic bags and this was the 1st time that we saw them like this. We were 6 ppl in the place with only 1 outside shower & 1 toilet which we knew about, but separating the outside shower was only a see through curtain so when one person was showering, anyone using the wash hand basins could see right through the curtain and nobody could use the toilet in the meantime as they would have to walk past the person showering. No handing space except for a small space in 1 bedroom....more...

일단 생각보다 더 대자연이니 모기기피제와 긴 옷을 챙기세요. 위치는 우붓 메인 거리와 상당히 멀기때문에(차로 약 30-40분) 가기전에 장을 보거나 먹을것을 챙겨가세요. 숙소에서 시켜먹는 음식은 너무 맛없어요. 저는 스윙을 단독으로 이용할 수 있을줄 알고 이 룸을 예약했는데 공용이용이라 숙소 앞마당에 다른 투숙객들이 수시로 찾아옵니다. 그리고 최대한 많은 인원과 함께가세요. 숙소가 너무 넓어서 2-3명이 가기엔 돈 아깝네요! 그랩이나 고젝이 안잡히는 위치입니다. 셔틀 버스도 없어서 호스트한테 태워달라고 해야해요. (편도 150k) 숙소에는 오토바이 한대뿐이라 다른 룸 투숙객이 먼저 빌리면, 시내나가서 빌려야해요. 그릇이나 이불이 좀 더럽고(그릇에 벌레 시체있고 먼지쌓임), 대자연이라 모기 사마귀 도마뱀 많아요! 샤워시설도 대자연스러워여.... 그리고 보안도 허술하니 마음준비하고 가세요. (대문에 진짜 약한 자물쇠 하나)

말그대로 벌레 천국이에요. 어두워지자 부엌, 욕실, 화장실 조명에 벌레들이 미친듯이 모여들어서 사용할 수 없었습니다. 침실도 마찬가지로 온갖종류의 벌레들이 날아들어서 잘 수가 없었어요.. 쇼파에는 그나마 벌레가 없어서 쇼파에서 겨우 잤습니다. 아무리 컨셉이라지만 잠은 편히 잘 수 있도록 해야하지않을까요? 모기장조차 없었습니다. 침구들 상태도 축축하고 좋지 않았구요, 벌레 싫어하시는 분들은 못견디실거에요. 또 샤워기에 따뜻한물은 나오지 않습니다. 저녁에는 소개 책자에 있는 음식점에서 배달 서비스를 이용했습니다. 그런데 배달이 1시간30분이나 걸렸어요. 주문하지 않았던 당근쥬스도 함께 배달되었으나 귀찮아서 그냥 먹었습니다. 가격대비 맛도 별로였습니다.

침구괄릐가 잘 되지 않눈고가타효 다녀와서 지금 5일이 지났눈데 모미 간쥐뤄워서 주께떠요 풍경과 개인적으로 즐길 수 있는 스윙은 좋았어요 딱 그정도.. 두 번은 안갈궛그씁늬다

The place is beyond beautiful.It’s a must visit. I would suggest if you cant stay without an AC than it can be problem because its hot & humid in the master rooms. Yes there is a fan but it’s not that effective. The cleanliness is average.

民宿差评！卫生不好！窗帘！蚊帐破洞多，蚊帐周围还很多蚊虫尸体！蚊虫多、坐在这里一直被咬！小孩住一晚上身上痒到不行！订两个晚上住一晚就忍受不住要退房！还不退钱！浪费了2000多！要住的朋友真心要好好考虑清楚！非常不愉快！

Don't be fooled by the beautiful instagramer picture. It's not usual about the strange experiences we had at the place. (I'm talking about the spirit at the place). Besides that part the bedsheets is not clean and has small bugs inside the blanket. The shower needs to be fixed at the water doesn't come out through the bamboo branches. Also, since we arriver late night. We did not expect the spirit part of the experience. We drove at the same area for hour until the driver throw the coin out the car before we've arrived and realised that the area around is the cemetery.

The view from the villa is truly beautiful, and the host was always quick to respond. However, the property itself feels quite worn and would benefit from more maintenance. We also experienced another villa guest entering our garden to use the swing without prior notice. Since the house has no walls, this felt intrusive—especially as it happened while we were just waking up.

Location is pretty far from Ubud, there is no bike rental service around so we had to take taxi to Ubud to rent and come back My room got a/c but no remote control. Called the staff and he said I can power it on by pressing the button on the a/c, but couldn’t adjust the temperature.

The staff are very nice and of course the view are amazing. However, if you’re traveling in a big family with elderly, I wouldn’t recommend since the facilities provided are not very convenient and suitable. But if you’re in a group of young people, I guess there wouldn’t be any problems.

I think the place was not worth $300 a night. For this nightly rate 3 meals a day should be included IMO... The only included was breakfast which was only good for one person. They served us 3 small thin pancakes and 1 thin omellete. The room was just ok. It was an open room. Unlike other villa we stayed in ubud even its open area the service, food, rooms was so much better for a lil cheaper than zenhideaway. I would recommend you stay in camaya bali... Better place than zen hideaway... I think this place is just overhyped by celebrity instagrammer.. it looks like you were paying to stay here for the famous swing they have.. the bali swing is just the same location as zenhideaway..

Stunning cottage and view, but their wild “housedog” was present all the time. It was lying in our bedsheets so it got smelly and full of dirt and doghair. It pooped all over the kitchen, so we woke up to a nasty mess. The cottage is open so we couldn’t do anything about the dog that insisted to run around all over the cottage. We tryed to make it lease, but it only made it bark at us. We only stayed for one night, so this very expensive stay was ruined.

The house and surroundings are really beautiful and the view is to die for. Being an open house you get all the wildlife right into your bedroom. Obe room can be closed from the outside and has an AC but in there there is no mosqito net around the bed and the bed is like sleeping on a rock. But overall the stay was great, and again this house is beautiful and the view to die for

风景是绝美的，服务也是很好的。房子整体比较简约，蚂蚁到处都是，也会有壁虎，蚊帐比较脏。早餐一般，日常可以点单叫餐到房间但是口味一般，可以叫外卖但是配送费比较高。如果不介意这些细节，为了景色值得入住。

Superbe maison et vue fantastique. Hote aux petits soins pour organiser nos activités. A noter toutefois le bruit incessant de la chute d'eau, beaucoup beaucoup de fourmis, et de l'humidité assez marquée la nuit.

Zen Hideaway 2 è una simpatica costruzione aperta. La nostra famiglia ha adorato questo posto. Le altalene, le amache, la rete e la vista magnifica rende questo posto unico. I suoni della natura e dei dintorni accompagnano inevitabilmente il soggiorno. È stata una bellissima avventura per noi!

Tolle Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber, welcher uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben hat. Sobald wir angekommen sind, sind wir sofort empfangen worden. Wunderschöne Aussicht über das Tal und toller Sonnenaufgang und coole Schaukel! Wir mochten das Gefühl vom draussen sein obwohl man im Haus war. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch nicht mehr ganz so neu wie auf den Fotos und die Bettwäsche etwas muffig. Ich empfehle zum Beispiel die Hängematten oder Moskitonetze zu reinigen.

숲 속의 낭만을 충족하기엔 훌륭했습니다. 친절하게 반겨주고 조식도 맛있었습니다. 그러나 많은 개미와 모기, 눅눅한 침구류는 감안하셔야 될것같습니다. 잘 머물다 왔습니다.

We absolutely loved the experience of living in the wild. It was such a unique adventure! Although there were quite a few mosquitoes and ants, my husband found a bit challenging. I hope you can address the insect issue a bit more next time. Additionally, it was quite stuffy when we used the mosquito net to sleep. So I suggest installing a movable electric fan to improve airflow. Overall , it was a wonderful experience!

뷰가 환상적이고 너무 예쁜 숙소지만 거의 야외취침으로 생각해야됩니다 방 세개중에 두개는 에어컨이 없고 야외에 오픈되어 있는 공간이고 오직 하나 사방이 막힌 방에 에어컨은 고장나있었습니다 근데 덥지 않아요. 좀 선선한 야외에서 모기장 치고 자는 기분입니다. 대신 일하시는 분들과 소통도 잘되고 친절하십니다 아 그리고 화장실1 샤워실1인데 샤워실도 아예 쌩 야외입니다 감성을 원하시면 가셔도 좋지만 벌레와 친하지 않고 야외취침이 어려우신 분들은 추천 드리지 않습니다

확실히 프라이빗 해서 좋았어요 정글에 있어서 개미가 많은건 어쩔 수 없어요 다른 후기에는 에어컨이 없다는데 저희는 에어컨 있는 방이 따로 있어서 좋았어요 발리 스윙도 숙소 안에 있어서 무료로 계속 탈 수 있었습니다ㅎ

I stayed with my family for just one night last week. I had booked this place based on earlier reviews stating that they do recommend food from nearby place which is quite well. During checkin I saw a note that had instructions on how to order food along with menu but when we tried to reach out them, they said they were unable to provide meal for dinner at around 7:30 pm due to some reasons. It was very inconvenient for us as this is a remote place and didn’t have any shops around so we ended up ordering pizza with hefty tip. Otherwise stay was good, highlight was the breakfast.

Thank you for the lovely stay and Pak for driving us into Ubud Centre and also coming to check on us when we needed first aid. The views are brilliant! Second to none. For me the outside bedroom needed to be more sealed off as I like more privacy as the surrounding treehouses could walk in if they wanted to. But that’s personal preference. Fantastic stay and once in a lifetime experience

大自然的美和乌布山谷的景色使人非常震撼，早晨可以看到阳光穿过云层照进木屋，可以听到瀑布的声音以及鸟叫。这是无法比拟的美，其他酒店无法达到。但是木屋需要维修和完善，比如蚂蚁太多以至于会感到十分恐怖，甚至黑压压的一大片在整个柱子上， 房间甚至厨房到处都是蚂蚁。卫生间墙壁布满青苔和潮湿的味道， 下水道味道非常大， 房间帐篷有污渍，木屋在保持原始风格的前提下也可以完善一下基础设施，这样体验感会更好。

Villa-cabane magnifique au milieu de la nature. C’est un endroit parfait pour réaliser de belles photos, avec une superbe lumière au lever de soleil. La balançoire est trop cool ! C’est vraiment atypique, j’ai adoré. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et fabuleux. Juste un petit bémol sur la vétusté de la villa qui s’abîme forcément avec le temps, et qui mériterait quelques petites renovations.

與相片一樣，回覆快，友善 但要注意的是安全問題，其他房間的住戶可以經共用的草地通往你的房間，而且房間是沒有門鎖 2號房沖涼的地方是在戶外，就是在那片共用的草地旁邊 代表其他住戶可以通過那草地到達你沖涼的地方

非常不错的体验 虽然因为仓促的行程只能享受三小时的小憩时光，但这三小时足以让我们感受到那份特别与独立 非常出片 与众不同 满满的回忆

Very beautiful and neat layout of the house. Great view. There were a more bugs that previously experienced in other tree houses but they did provide a very good mosquito repellent cream and a blue bug light. The house was relatively clean with the odd spider webs here and there and the termite dust fell often in various areas of the bottom part of the house. The outdoor bedroom though was a bit untidy due to the walls being eaten by bugs and having spider webs and dead bugs living in the palm woven walls. The one very negative aspect of the tree house is that the swing infront of the house on the lawn area is open to other guests which means there is no privacy in this open tree house. Other guests can easily look into the entire house when at the swing meaning there are no private areas (besides the toilet) in this tree house. The included breakfast and food from the nearby restaurant was tasty and well presented. Clean bathroom, kitchen and fridge Over all our stay was good.

Tranquilidad y naturaleza

This place was definitely out of my comfort zone, but my friends and I enjoyed it. I was able to sleep comfortably and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch since everything else was far away. I recommend staying 2 nights. The swing was so fun, but definitely scary at first! Everyone working there was really nice as well :)

民宿是独栋的双层木屋，有3个大床房可以住6个人，2个大客厅，厨房浴室卫生问都有，还有前后花园！非常适合亲子、团建、好友，6个人人均下来才200+，太香了好吗！ 听着大自然的白噪音溪流虫呜吗而眠非常放松，自然醒来看了一场安静美好的日出好美好治愈！悬崖瀑布网红秋千就在我们院子里，随便荡～早餐做的非常好吃！ 缺点就是有点隐蔽，一定要跟司机说名字 ZenHideaway，不然真的很难找，我们晚上绕了一个小时问了3个司机才找到呜呜！！！然后注意卫生，会有苍蝇蚂蚁，蚊子倒是还好有驱蚊膏和蚊帐，夜里很凉快！

不错的地方，但是不建议带很小的小朋友入住，由于是开放式的有些地方没有护栏，晚上灯光也有点昏暗，小孩子有点害怕，如果是大人，强烈推荐，重点拍照真的很美，秋千真的很棒

如有選擇此房源，請務必在太陽下山前完成check in,不然進到房源前會非常漆黑，很像廢墟。我們一開始有嚇到，以為是被騙了，連包車司機都不相信我們怎麼會訂這種，進到屋子裡，開燈後才放心⋯

It was a great experience. The view is incredible.

We stay in Zen hideaway for 2 nights, which is a unique and unforgettable experience. Highly recommend to people that are not afraid of insects. We saw some fireflies at night which we didn't expected! The driver/ house keeper is really responsive too.

Villa to book if u would like some unique close to nature experience. Exactly as photos. Perfect view with a private swing. Staff r very friendly n helpful. But if u r scared of incests n bugs. This is not the place to stay. Situated on cliff side. It is cool n comfortable even during daytime. Only downside is the location. It takes about 30mins to get to ubud city centre, n it takes longer than usual to get transport via gojek/grab at that area.

Es ist eine einzigartige Unterkunft, auf die man sich allerdings einlassen muss. Uns hat es gut gefallen. Wenn man allerdings Angst vor Insekten und anderen Tierchen hat, ist man hier falsch! Alles ist offen gestaltet. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch! Wer sich traut, sollte hier unbedingt hinkommen!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Best thing about this place are the stunning views from the hideaway. Very open and you definitely feel at one with nature but be prepared to sleep with the wildlife! Great stay for couples and older families but I would say not really suitable for young children as lots of drops without proper railings.

Amazing villa, very cool swing!

Pros - Unbelievable views from the Zen Hideaway over the jungle valley & Bali swing. Cool home and great for instagram. Your friends will be jealous! Host very attentive and very friendly family. Cons - We struggled with insects at nighttime. We would recommend switching off main lights and just using the plug in lights provided by host so as not to attract them. We slept in the smaller bed doorstairs to minimise contact with insects, but it's a small mattress on a wooden base so not particularly comfy. Also, the Zen Hideaway is a 30 min drive from Ubud and there aren't any restaurants/ bars nearby. We ended up using Pizza Baccus for home delivery. We booked 4 nights in total - in hindsight 2 would have been more than enough (we actually ended up staying elsewhere for 2 of the 4 nights). In short- this was still an amazing experience and I'd highly recommend visiting for a night or 2 if you are in Bali!

I really love this house, view and Bali swing. Host give me all important information before I came. Staff are really good. Host told me before I arrive that I should pay 300,000 for extra person but do not have extra bed and I OK for this. But when I came to the house, host didn’t prepare more towel, welcome drink, pillow for the extra one too. The house not clean enough. I saw French fried under the table and toilet smell not good. Breakfast is on time that I asked. They give me a lot of breakfast, but this taste difference. Overall you have to visit this house.

Cute getaway, with a touch of nature n other door. It’s an open concepts. I’ll say if you want to have a back to nature moment. I’ll recommend going with some close friends. The other tree house have access to ur swing. Witch is open to the living area. It was a surprise for me but I understand it. Over all a nice get away with some close friends. Also only one room with AC. Hehehe bring mosquito repellent!!!

原生态木屋，度假很舒服。网红秋千打卡点。但蚊虫比较多，露天的沐浴间。

民宿的秋千真的比bali swing要高好多，荡出去正对阿勇河，景色超好。虽然天气炎热，但待在这里却不觉得热。倒是有来自山林间的微风穿堂而过，带着树木的味道，让人舒适得想打盹。在此期间遇到了蜥蜴、壁虎等朋友造访，还偷吃了我剩下的炒面。这里有各种大自然的声音：流水声、鸟叫声、对面bali swing游客的尖叫声…不绝于耳。虽然有些吵闹，但又很真实。虽然我比较敏感还有洁癖，晚上比较难睡着，但这是一次全新的体验。毕竟，这是生活在天堂里的一个小小的代价~有个小插曲是晚上停电了，给房东反馈后便马上叫人来检查，第二天还延迟让我们退房不多收费，给个赞。只是这个民宿的价格，有点略贵了，也没有牙刷等洗漱用品，真的非常原生态了。适合喜欢大自然的朋友~

A great jungle-life camping-style experience. Had no problems with bugs or insects. There is an onsite dog that we were unaware of but had no problems with.

Хороший вариант для отдыха, но не более чем на одну ночь. Условия довольно экстремальные, из трёх комнат только одна закрытая. Хозяева приветливые, доброжелательные. По приезду нас ждали комплиментарные кокосы, утром к назначенному времени принесли завтрак. В хижине довольно чисто, но много насекомых (особенно муравьев).

Apart from the private swing, can’t give too much positive comments on it. The style of this villa is indeed different from others, quite interesting experience. But the soft decoration is way too simple, the kitchen is not as clean as I expected, unstable hot shower due to the poor water pressure, the water heats kept went off during 4 people’s showers. Complementary breakfast is way too limited, even through the housekeeper has very good attitude. Another issue is a dirty dog who sneaked into a unoccupied bed at night, we wondered if our bed was or have been slept by this dirty dog before or not. Anyway, not a very nice experience at all.

We have so much fun with the Swing. You can feel life was closed to the nature. You can see fog surrounding in the morning. It’s great:)

자연경관이 정말 아름다운 숙소입니다 생각보다 훨씬 집이 크고 이 집만의 분위기가 확실한 집이었습니다. 모기가 걱정되어 모기장까지 사갔었는데 침실에 모기장도 잘 되어있고 8월에 방문했을 때 집에 모기는 단 한마리도 없었습니다 추가로 구매한 모기장도 기부하고 왔으니 이용하실 수 있을 것 같습니다 온수도 생각보다 잘 나왔습니다 다만 온수가 끊길 때가 있습니다 스윙만 보고 갔는데 사실 자연 속에 머무는 숙소가 너무 좋아 다시 간다면 여유롭게 즐기고 오고 싶네요 다만 앞에 폭포가 있어 폭포소리가 엄청 큽니다 부모님은 두분 다 폭포소리 때문에 귀마개를 착용하셔도 잠을 거의 못 주무셨다고 하네요. 어쩔 수 없는 부분이므로 감안하시고 가시면 될 것 같습니다

房屋很漂亮，对面可以看见阿勇河和日出。如果度假在酒店呆上几天会十分完美。不过因为只有一个房间是全封闭的。另外两间休息难免会比较吵一点。和有小虫的困扰。如果睡眠好且不在乎的人，可以放心预定。附近可能吃东西不太方便，提前采购就OK了

Breakfast is so simple, not so tasty. Lots of mosquitos during my stay. However the house itself is fantastic with wonderful view and swing.

The view is top notch period. Facilities are okay, but cute and stylish. But imo the price is a ripped off. Should have more couple-villas than 1 big single house.

This place is truly very beautiful with the biggest bonus being that you have your own private Bali swing. The entire place is open so please be ready for a lot of mosquitoes and insects joining you for the evening! Also the Airbnb is kind of located in the middle of no where so you have to rely on the housekeeper, Wayan, to drive you everywhere (with a fee of course) or you can try to rent a scooter on your own. There isn’t much to do but just to relax and absorb the surrounding nature so if you are planning to constantly hit up central Ubud, staying here wouldn’t be the best idea since it is like 40 minutes away by car.

This house is a must if you're staying in Ubud, the private swing right on your door step beats the official Bali Swing hands down! It is very spacious, clean and you won't find anything more outdoor-sy! 😍

Definitely a once in a lifetime experience, would recommend! Make sure to put on mosquito repellent though (provided as well). The swing was so much fun. The premise was very nicely decorated, but many things (ex. sink faucet) weren't in the best condition. Understandable given the outdoors theme and environment. Location is perfect for a hideaway - far away from bustle hustle but also makes ride hailing and food delivery less convenient.

체크인에서 문제가 있었습니다. 다른게스트에게 예약된 방을 주었고 30분정도 입실하지못하고 기다려야 했습니다. 영어와 현지어가 가능했던 가이드가 있어서 해결됐지만 정확한 확인이 필요합니다. 위치는 한적하고 주변에편의시설은 거의없습니다. 하지만 이 숙소 자체만으로 묵을가치는 있습니다. 아름다운 숙소와 경치는 발리여행을 행복하게 해주었습니다.

酒店本身还不错，有私人秋千，在山谷的最高处，风景很好，就是被子和床单不干净。

The place is very stylish and has all the things you could ask for. Cleanliness was an issue. There were bugs and ants in parts of the house. I even saw a lizard in the kitchen area. If they work on the cleanliness and bugs issue, the house would be perfect. Spectacular view. The swing is the best part. The housekeepers are exteremely sweet.

What. A. View I had a huge smile on my face upon entering the hideaway. The view was just glorious we were so happy to just sit and stare at it all day. The only downside was there was a dog on the property which barked all night and was sleeping in the living room scaring us when we needed to go to the toliet. I wish the owner is of tied him up other than that it is just fabulous. Such a special location and of course the swing is so much fun

자연 그대로를 즐기는 숙소예요. 유리창이 없고 벽이 없는 자연과 마주한 숙소에서 보내는 특별한 경험을 할 수 있는데, 그 덕분에 너무너무 행복하지만 적응 기간이 필요해요. 첫 날은 빨리 체크아웃을 하고 싶을 정도로 벌래와 침구, 화장실이 적응되지 않았지만 샤워 한 번 하고, 하룻밤을 자고 나서 새벽에 해 뜨는 광경을 보고 나서는 모든게 다 좋아졌어요. 비가 오지 않는 날은 반딧불이도 볼 수 있더라고요. 살면서 꼭 한 번은 경험해야될 곳이라고 말하며 추천하고 싶은 곳이에요. 그네를 타면서 우붓의 정글을 즐기기에도 최고인 장소이고 호스트인 Wayan과 가족들도 아주 친절하고 좋았습니다. 다만 이곳에서 주문해 먹는 아침을 비롯한 식사는 친절하긴 했으나 맛은 별로였으니 참고하세요.

House is beautiful, completely open on a breathtaking view. Swing is great, and overall area of the house is very local. However, a bit noisy at night from the master bedroom (river, road and dogs).

The place is amazing, like this is the place you will have to visit when you in Indonesia! But I am not 100% sure about the safety regarding the big swing. There are not much warning nor descriptions about the swing safety issues before guests get on to it. All you need to do is to sign a waver before you get on to it? Otherwise this is like a dream place.

Awesome hosts, were prompt and on time. Was able to organise transfers for us when we needed. The place was beautiful, as it is all open planned it gets hot at night in the main bedroom with the mozzie net and under the blanket. Would be great for a fan or a/c in there. Overall was a great experience and not for the faint of heart.

The serenity and view of the Zen Hideaway are worth the visit! They are spectacular and probably the best we have seen in travels all over the world. It is peaceful and beautifully rustic and far enough from Ubud to be peaceful. Wayan and his wife are amazing in terms of help getting around. Though there is a kitchen, you will be very limited if you really like to cook as there is only one curved pan and one pot, no can opener, etc. So Minimalist cooking is fine. Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I loved staying at this amazing home. The scenery was beautiful. The housekeepers Wayan and Ibu were lovely and very helpful and friendly. Our only issue was with the lack of privacy with the home, which we thought we would have more of because of the name 'Zen Hideaway'. The privacy issues related to having another airbnb guest in the other house next door and using the swing and being directly outside our home quite often. The house is open air, it this this restricted privacy a lot. Lastly, the fact that people are able to pay to come and use the swing whilst we were staying in the house was also not made clear previously and impacted privacy.

Amazing hideaway - it´s a beautiful build house with an amazing view and the coolest swing on earth . The house is a great place to stay if you want to feel the nature around you and stay in the countryside of Bali . We loved the place , but it really is made for adults and not for small children . We will visit again without kids :-) It takes about 30 minutes to get to Ubud . Nika is lovely host , very friendly .

Villa exceptionnelle dans un cadre magnifique. Nous avons adoré cette villa ouverte sur l'extérieur. La décoration très sobre est digne de magazines. La salle de douche en plein air est très agréable. Il ne s'agit pas d'hôtellerie de luxe traditionnelle. Il s'agit d'une maison très atypique avec salons et chambres sans cloison, au coeur de la nature. Il peut y avoir des petites bêtes et ça a tellement plus de charme qu'un hôtel de luxe. La balançoire est incroyable. Le service petit déjeuner, taxi, livraison de repas est très bien. Un hébergement inoubliable pour des personnes souhaitant un lieu zen et de caractère au coeur de la nature.

I’m too scared to give a great review because this place was probably the best place I’ve been in my life.. and I don’t want the bookings to be full when I want to come here again 😅😅 WHAT a BEAUTIFUL place!! We came straight from Sydney, Australia and this place forces you to relax and breath!! From the driver who picked us up at the airport to the delicious breakfasts each morning included. To the deep tissue massages each day by the kind masseuses. To the lovely drone and picture people you can hire to capture your special stay. No amount of pictures can capture how relaxing and beautiful this place is. You never need the fan or a/c as there is a beautiful breeze day and night. My family still are wishing we were there. Eine wirklich besondere Unterkunft, ein offenes "Dschungelhaus" mit stilvoller einfacher Einrichtung. Die ein oder andere Ameise und auch mal ein Gecko kommen zu Besuch - darauf wird aber im Inserat auch eindeutig hingewiesen und das trägt auch zum Charme des Hauses bei. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und lässt sich mit der tollen Schaukel noch erweitern, das Rauschen des Flusses beruhigend. Das Frühstück war toll.

Only stayed one night but blown away by the beauty of the location and the insane sunrise. The house aligns perfectly with the sunrise and you can lay in bed and watch it pop up. Totally cool bamboo house, very quirky. Great out doors shower. Fab swing and gardens. You can sit and watch the white water rafting. Can walk to a little shop for water / snacks. Definitely one to remember. And to top it off fantastic grab delivery to the home.

What an idyllic place! Beautiful view, peaceful and quiet in one with nature! We loved it here, and highly recommend it to those who want something out of the ordinary. The welcome drink was a lovely touch, and the breakfast was simply amazing. I especially loved the open-air bathroom—it made the whole experience feel even more connected to nature. This place is absolutely gorgeous with stunning surrounding and such an open and beautiful home. The property is very large and there so many different spaces to relax with a big yoga studio upstairs, a net for relaxing, comfortable sofa and lovely downstairs dining area! Breakfast is included and it was delicious on both of the days that we stayed and delivered very promptly. They also recommended a local restaurant in the villa instruction manual which was very easy to order from with quick delivery too. The swing is amazing! It does look a bit scary at first but it is so worth it for some amazing photos without having to pay to do it elsewhere. The host and other staff were so polite and helpful throughout our stay. I couldn’t recommend it enough and would love to have stayed longer.

Nous sommes assez éloignés d’Ubud (en temps de trajet) donc les repas et sortie nécessitent forcément une voiture. On peut se faire livrer à manger par un restaurateur à proximité (qui ne fait que des livraisons) ce qui dépanne fortement. Ce fut une belle expérience pour toute la famille !

Excellent breakfast brought to you from across the street, not made on premiss for Max privacy. Very good experience for my family of 5 with 3 teens and Sumimasen was lovely and happy to assist in driving, pick up, touring etc…Sweet man. Not very buggy. Only two salamanders. One bedroom completely closed with AC. It rained and still we enjoyed our stay. Waterfall view and soothing sound 24/7. The others still private and felt comfortable, spacious and safe. This place was very large. Tubing very close by.

A stunning location with a fantastic view like no other. My teens were so thrilled with the swing. Delighted that breakfast was included and it was always beautifully presented. We were able to use Grab to get into Ubud for shopping and meals. We also did two fantastic tours around the Ubud area and the guides came to collect us from Zen Hideaway. Would definitely recommend for those who want a unique rural/jungle experience and are happy to be in nature.

What a lovely 3 day stay!! When we arrived we couldn’t get over the view, it is sooo beautiful! Very peaceful and breakfast arranged for us in the morning which was amazing. The hosts were very helpful with driving us to town, and the airport.

Gospodarz musi poważnie podchodzić do każdej krytycznej recepcji, bo żaden negatywny komentarz się nie potwierdzil: huśtawka z zabezpieczeniem i w cenie wynajmu, czysto, dobre jedzenie z dostawa do domku, a w okolicy więcej restauracji do wyboru. What a special place to spend 2 nights as a family of 4 and a Granny, the views are spectacular and everyone loved having the swing on the property. The breakfast was delicious and being able to order in was a real treat after a day out exploring. The Driver has limited English but was incredible in terms of getting us around and very good prices and helped us with a trip after hours. The only negative was a wedding next door the first night so it was really noisy quite late into the night but nothing one can really do. The massage my wife had was fantastic and much better than the ones in town. An absolute recommend from our side.

AMAZING! I can’t express how much we loved our stay at Zen Hideaway. Wow the house was lovely and clean with hammocks and a beautiful outdoor shower. The pictures do not do justice to the stunning green forest and waterfall that runs through the backyard. And the swing was incredible! Two nights was not nearly enough for our group of 5. Do not pass up the chance to stay here for your Bali trip!!

Great secluded place in the outskirts of Ubud. Amazing location and amazing views. A swing in the property was a good to have. Only 1 bedroom is properly walled and have AC. Other 2 rooms are open to nature and doesn't have an AC. I guess that's what brings you closer to nature. Open rooms had mosquito nets installed over the bed and the host was kind enough to share repellent tubes to apply on body. Breakfast was good to have. Tourists from US or Europe are accustomed to using a single shared bathroom between all the rooms but we as Indians, are always used to having a separate bathroom per room. So, there's that. We didn't use the swings as there were so many ants and insects roaming on the swing. Same applies for hanging nets for relaxation. Overall great property for a group of 4-6 adults.

This is a place to stay close to nature if you don't mind ants and geckos. The communication with the landlord and the housekeeper was very smooth and their responses were always very timely.

Such a beautiful Airbnb! The building is stunning and the location - the views you wake up to are incredible!! The staff were beautiful and kind, Wayan who drove us around and the others who brought breakfast each morning. The location was a bit out of Ubud - it just meant being more planned around outings/food. However, also meant it was so peaceful and out of the hustle and bustle off the centre!

It was incredible! The moment you step in, you can feel how special this place is. It’s easy to find, and the communication through Airbnb was excellent, with super-fast responses. A lovely lady welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know. Upon arrival, we could choose our breakfast preferences, including what we wanted and when we wanted it. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and right on time. In the evening, we noticed a few mosquitoes for about 30 minutes, but they provided a special body lotion and a blue light to keep them away, which worked perfectly. At night, we had no insects at all in the open bedroom. The swing in the garden is a wonderful bonus. An unforgettable experience, I can’t wait to return!

We had a nice experience staying at this open-space house in Ubud. The view was absolutely breathtaking, offering the serene and picturesque landscape you'd hope for when visiting Ubud. The house itself was rustic yet comfortable ( maybe could enhance on towels and bed sheets/ net quality) , providing a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. The only downside was the very limited dining options nearby. We found that even go-Jek services struggled to reach the location, with frequent cancellations. If we were to return, we'd definitely plan ahead by having a car and stocking up on food to make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in Ubud.

Truly an incredible stay. It was everything we had hoped for. Amazing views, comfortable beds, and more. We enjoyed the swing, the yoga mats, and the complimentary delicious breakfast. It was easy to find the place. Our host responded quickly to any need we had. They helped set up massages for us right in the villa and it was amazing. We could hear the nearby waterfall at night. Like it says in the listing description, it is open to the elements and there could be bugs or critters. We did see many ants but they didn’t bother us and no bugs were ever present in any of the beds.

The setting is absolutely stunning with a fantastic view over the valley. Obviously the swing is fantastic!! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We got coconuts on arrival, which I loved and breakfast was very good. There are not that many eating options nearby, especially at night, but you can order food. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend this beautiful home in nature.

Een geweldig groot huis die qua ruimte en uitzicht helemaal aan de verwachting voldeed! Het uitzicht was prachtig en alles was goed geregeld! Het contact verliep heel makkelijk en we konden altijd alles vragen! Qua ligging vonden we de omgeving wat saai en ook moeilijk om aan eten te komen behalve de dichtstbijzijnde Warung. Maar al met al heel tevreden!

Wir waren absolut begeistert. Der erste Blick auf das Tal und den Staudamm nach dem betreten des Hauses waren einfach atemberaubend. Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Haus #2 untergebracht welches mit dem zugehörigen extra Schlafplatz perfekt für unsere fünfköpfige Familie war. Wir hatten jeden Morgen ein sehr gutes Frühstück welches uns in Haus gebracht wurde und wir beim Rauschen des Wasserfalls unseren Morgen beginnen konnten. Für die sonstige Verpflegung gibt es kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung oder die Möglichkeit bei einem lokalen Restaurant zu bestellen. Dieser liefert das Essen auch bis an den Tisch. Es war eine tolle Erfahrung und die Kinder sind immer noch begeistert von der großen Dschungelschaukel und den Hängematten. Ein perfekter Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung für die gesamte Familie.

This will be a stay my family and I will never forget. The house has the most stunning views. The open air concept of the house is amazing. I was worried with no A/C in the bedrooms, but the breeze is cool coming off the river and there is absolutely no need for air conditioning at all. Wish we could have stayed more days at this dream house!!!

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Haus verbracht. Es liegt direkt an der Straße, ist aber trotzdem ruhig gelegen, sehr privat und man hat einen wundervollen Blick auf einen Fluss im Dschungel. Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern beschrieben und das Highlight ist natürlich die Schaukel. Einfach grandios! Das Personal ist jederzeit erreichbar, das Frühstück wird sehr liebevoll zubereitet, ein Fahrer ist immer vorhanden (gegen Geld). Wir hatten 3 schöne Tage und haben an einem Tag Rafting im Fluss unternommen (wegen Spezialpreis müsst ihr euch ans Personal wenden). Ich kann die Unterkunft guten Herzens weiterempfehlen.

The design of the villa, the surrounding landscape makes it perfect for taking pictures and videos. I had a lot of fun doing the swing and making videos around the villa.

My family had the most memorable stay in this gem of a listing . They mention somewhere in the description that one should not go looking for creature comforts in a place like theirs. However, the Hideaway offers basic amenities that made for a comfortable stay for us. The incredibly beautiful location and the raw natural aesthetics of the house it self made up for everything. The host was courteous responsive and very proactive in helping me out with my queries. We booked local tours, massages and got recommendations from him that were very helpful!

It was a great experience for our family. We all loved it. Never did anything like that before. Coming from the city, sleeping outdoor in the nature. Definitely there were bugs, but if you keep your mosquito net properly closed, nothing comes to your bed. The hosts were great and helpfull, the breakfast was lovely, food can be ordered and delivered, menu available in the villa.

Breakfast was delicious and staff were very amazing cooking and cleaning for us everyday. We also had a driver available to us living right across the street who was incredibly attentive and responded within minutes. The villa is stunning and private would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the Ubud area.

This is the best air b&b if you wanna stay in a forest and have a hideaway from the crowd! We are so amazed by the gorgeous surroundings with breeze, trees, river and birds. You would enter a chill and peaceful mode soon after staying in the house. I advise others to spend more time there to enjoy every bit of it. There are lots of chairs, swinging chairs and beds for you to just chill and relax. The Swing is of course the highlight! It is a very simple one though. You do need some courage to overcome the height before enjoying the excitement. We booked the massage and morning yoga which were incredible ! I highly recommend you to book both and enjoy the most of the house. I highly recommend this air B&B if you come to Ubud and want a special jungle night!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich mit einer frischen gekühlten Kokosnuss empfangen. Der Ausblick ins Tal und zum Wasserfall ist sensationell. Abends haben wir bei dem empfohlenen Warung etwas bestellt, was ganz unkompliziert war und sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das war die schönste Unterkunft, in der ich je war. Die Schaukel hat total Spaß gemacht, aber man sollte aufpassen! Auch vorsichtig sollte man sein nachts mit den Straßenhunden. Uns wurde aber sehr nett geholfen von den Einheimischen. Zudem haben wir vor Ort eine Massage bekommen und morgens Yoga gemacht. Kann ich jeden empfehlen! Außerdem gab es sogar Frühstück am nächsten Tag kostenlos. Es war einfach toll.

The treehouse was absolutely beautiful! The views are honestly breathtaking. We couldn’t believe that was our view, we felt so lucky. The swing was also so fun! So much better than going to one of the other swings nearby as you can take as many pics and vids as you want. Obviously there were going to be lots of insects around because it was all open but these did not come into the bedroom or cause a real issue. Everything was perfect! Breakfast was a lovely touch and was delicious. Lovely to eat with that view too!

Un’esperienza indimenticabile.

It’s my second time to live here. The atmosphere is comfortable and calm. If you like to get in touch with nature, it’s the best place to live. However, this villa is around 30 min. away from center and the host didn’t provide moto rental, so if you want to rent moto, you need to take grab to the city center to rent, it’s inconvenient. Overall, I would still recommend this villa.

Loved the Zen Hideaway. Only recommendation is to try and arrive while the sun is out to absorb the beauty of the venue. The venue was exactly what was described and waking up to the sun rise was great. There were a few bugs here and there but they won’t bother you (except for the mozzies, but Sumimasen provides repellent on arrival). Thanks for having us!

Seul bémol, la balançoire est partagée entre les 3 logements du site donc si vous occupez la maison avec 3 chambres, vous pouvez avoir de la visite d autres occupants juste devant votre logement à n importe quel moment et comme il n y a pas de mur dans la maison, au niveau intimité ce n est pas idéal.

Zen Hideaway is a beautiful open treehouse that overlooks a river and waterfall. I highly recommend booking this place if you are okay being with nature. The treehouse is completely open (only one closed room in zen hideaway 2) which means you can’t shelter from bugs or animals. With that said, neither were a huge issue for us. The bugs stayed away from the bed and our personal belongings and the only animal that we saw was a monkey. The primary downside of staying here was its location which was far away from a lot of the common tourist spots. However, Zen Hideaway helped provide us a driver that literally drove us everywhere we wanted to go for the days that we stayed for a reasonable price. All in all, if you are debating on booking I recommend you do so even if it’s for one or two nights. The family that hosted us was very nice and hospitable. The free breakfast every morning was great and the dinner we ordered from their menu was also great.

Simply beautiful!! We finally found the Bali Zen that we were searching for. Very clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Recommend visiting the Taman Beji Griya Waterfall. It was a 7 minute taxi ride. There is one local restaurant that will deliver. The menu is conveniently located on the dining table. The food is good, we enjoyed the teriyaki chicken and chicken fried rice. We ordered delivery by GoJek the other times. Lunch delivery was easy and arrived in 45 minutes. We did not have luck with delivery for dinner as GoJek could not find a driver at 7 pm to bring our food. Our 28 year old daughters rated this a 10/10 stay. They enjoyed lounging in the hammocks and trying out the famous Bali swing. This is truly an open air stay so you will need the mosquito nets that are provided at bedtime. The view from Zen Hideaway is magical!!! We LOVED our stay.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort. Aber wir sind sehr froh, dass wir das gemacht haben. Es war ein unvergesses Erlebnis. Traumhafter Ausblick, schöne Einrichtung, saubere Küche und Schlafmöglichkeiten. Getränke und Essen können ganz einfach per Handy bestellt werden und auch die angebotene Massage in der Unterkunft selbst war sehr gut. Im Garten gibt es eine private Bali-swing, die ein absolutes Erlebnis ist. Wir würden jedem empfehlen, dort einen Aufenthalt zu buchen.

풍경은 말해뭐해 자연 속에서 폭포소리와 새소리 풀벌레소리 들으며 하루 지낼 수 있어 좋았어요. 2번방은 정원에 스윙이 있는 방이고 창문과 에어컨있는 방이 있어 좋았어요 잠은 뚫린곳에서 자긴 했지만 불편하신 분은 방에서 자면 될거같아요 뻥뚫린 야외샤워실이 특별하고 좋았네요. 다만 정원 끝에서는 샤워하는 모습이 보일 수 있어 다른 방 사람들이 못가도록 안내문이 있으면 더 좋을 것 같습니다. 화장실 불도 좀 어두워서 아쉬웠어요. 저녁에 거실에서 노래 틀고 들으면 감성 쵝오입니다 가격이 둘이 가기엔 좀 비싼듯 하나 가족단위나 여러 커플 같이가면 넘 좋을거같아요 전반적으로 만족하고 평범하지 않은 장소에서 특별한 하루를 보낼 수 있었네요

Een van de mooiste plekken waar ik ooit heb verbleven! Het uitzicht vanuit het huis is adembenemend. We zaten in huis 2 (er zijn 2 kleinere huizen op het terrein, maar je zit totaal vrij). Vanuit de slaapruimte buiten het grote huis heb je het meest fantastische uitzicht om wakker te worden. Je hebt je eigen Bali swing tot je beschikking; Zo mooi om boven het landschap te ‘vliegen’. Vriendelijke beheerder die je overal naartoe kan rijden. Heerlijk ontbijt ook. De ultieme ontsnapping aan het overvolle Ubud. Als je de kans hebt, boek deze accommodatie!

Si tu aimes l'air conditionné soufflant à fond derrière d'épais murs ou le bruit rassurant de la circulation automobile, si tu penses qu'un lézard n'a rien à faire dans une cuisine ou qu'on ne peut pas bien dormir à la belle étoile, passe ton chemin, cet endroit n'est pas fait pour toi... Mon fils et moi avons passé 2 jours dans cette maison extraordinaire. Tout était magique : la conception de la maison ouverte sur l'extérieur sans murs en dur, la vue à couper le souffle, les sensations sur la balançoire, les nuits passées quasiment à la belle étoile (je n'ai mis ni la moustiquaire, ni les volets et ai passé 2 nuits magnifiques et ressourçantes), la cuisine ouverte où on s'est amusé à préparer des plats locaux tout en contemplant la vue... Sûrement, l'endroit le plus exceptionnel et ressourçant de toute ma vie.

入住体验感非常好，员工都很友善。但是这次入住唯一的问题是来接机的司机。我们提前联系了酒店安排司机接机。司机接机迟到15分钟。然后被告知因为到达时间太早酒店不允许我们现在过去，必须下午两点才能过去。然后司机说去酒店的路上可以带我们转一转。他没有提到任何关于额外收费的事情。我们因为被告知不能入住也理解上一位房客可能还没离开，于是同意了。司机载着我们去了稻田后，我们再次提出送我们去酒店，但再次遭到拒绝，让我们先去吃饭。吃完饭后仍然不愿意送我们去酒店，还想带我们去看瀑布。我们很严肃的拒绝了。到达酒店后，司机找我们要700000块的车费，接机的车费是400000。 我们没有办法给了他600000，然后将这件事告诉了酒店管家。酒店解释说司机并不是酒店的员工，并返还了我们200000. 我们想在这里提醒今后来这里旅客，提高警惕，防止类似事件的再次发生。

Die Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes und war bei unseren 10 Unterkünften während unserer 4 - wöchigen Rundreise durch Indonesien eines der Highlight. Das Haus ist sehr groß und die private Bali Swing einfach toll. Frühstück wurde nach Absprache zur vereinbarten Zeit gebracht. Im Haus gab es zudem eine Speisekarte eines Restaurants bei dem man bequem per Handy-Nachricht bestellen und liefern lassen konnte.

We absolutely loved our stay! The views were amazing, the beds comfortable, WiFi was great. Our kids (10+ years old) loved all the tree house elements and of course the big swing. We would definitely stay here again.

Die Bambusvilla ist unglaublich spannend und wunderschön. Leider hat es bei ins zwei Tage durchgehend geregnet, was unseren Aufenthalt leider etwas getrübte hat. Dennoch war es eine tolle Erfahrung so nah in und mit der Natur zu leben.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Exactly like the photos, a beautiful outlook and close to nature with all of the buildings being open air. Breakfast was great, delicious - and perfect sitting in the sun overlooking the valley. We ordered from the local Warung for lunch, but apart from that there is not really anywhere else to eat that is close. Ubud is further away (and busier than you would think to get there). Hosts are extremely responsive and very helpful with transport and answering questions. A beautiful spot and highly recommended.

The size and view of the villa which was totally out of my expectation. Every spot of the place is so instragrammable. The vibe and the sunrise is so nice.

We had a great stay at Zen Hideaway, the view is one of the nicest I have seen when staying in an Airbnb. The host Wayan and his wife are really sweet and attentive. This villa is perfect for a nice relaxing escape from the busy streets of Seminyak and Kuta! We will Definitely be back one day soon.

To say this was a hidden gem would be to sell it short - Zen Hideaway was worth its weight in gold! A wonderful find and it matched every picture in every blog to perfection. We stayed in Zen Hideaway #2 (#1 and #3 have access to the yard and swing, but both common areas are adjacent to #2), and were completely blown away by the view - I mean gob-smacked and put in complete awe! Incredible! The view was unparalleled and the accommodations were airy, spacious, and serene. Outdoor shower and semi-outdoor bathroom, two sinks, living room on top floor and kitchen/dining area on bottom floor, three distinct bedrooms (one upstairs and two downstairs - one across a small walkway). The space was definitely outdoorsy and felt somewhat dependent on the elements. Luckily, the elements are ALL in the host’s favor. Cannot recommend more highly. Staff supported a wonderful stay, from massages on site to driving for hours on multiple excursions, staff were exceedingly kind and helpful. Loved it!!!

한번쯤은 꼭 가볼만한 숙소입니다 넘 아름다워요! 다만 벌레 무서워하시면 많이 힘들 수 있고, 정글이다보니 습해서 침구류가 꿉꿉한 느낌이 들어요 그래도 밤에 모기장 꼼꼼히 쳐놓고 한 번도 안깨고 잘 잤네요 한국에서 챙겨온 옷에 붙이는 벌레 퇴치 스티커와 현지에서 구매한 모기 쫓는 로션과 모기향 유용하게 썼어요! 덕분에 벌레는 한 번도 안물렸습니다 숙소에 있는 발리 스윙은 혼자 타기는 조금 무서우니 직원분 도움 받아서 꼭 한번 타보세요 넘 재밌습니다ㅎㅎ 음질 엄청 좋은 블루투스 스피커도 있으니까 노래 크게 틀어놓고 풍경 감상하다보면 절로 행복해질거에요.. 숙소 통해서 간단한 저녁 메뉴도 주문할 수 있어요 여러모로 특별한 숙소였습니다 추천해요!!

Stunning!! If you just want to kick back and relax with one of the most breath-taking views then look no further! We were absolutely thrilled with this villa and would happily stay here again. It was such a relaxing place to be. Felt like a once in a lifetime kind of stay. If you’re on the fence just book it !! The staff were all amazing and they bring you a delicious breakfast to your villa in the morning which was just a really nice touch. Plus, giant jungle swing! I was too chicken to try it but my husband loved it! The only issue we ran into was that it’s on the other side of the river from most things and it can be a bit difficult to get a GoJek or Taxi from the villa. But you can arrange transport with the villa. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Badung Regency was an absolute delight though it was just for a day. The house is surrounded by picturesque nature views, including a mesmerizing waterfall, swing and vibrant flowers . Impeccably clean and comfortable, it provided a healing and rejuvenating experience. The gracious hosts made our stay even more memorable.

밤부하우스가 너무 가보고싶어서 대안으로 예약한 젠하이드웨이. 사진과 동일했고 창문이 없이 뚤려있는 집임에도 불구하고 청결했어요! 매우 친절하시고 서비스도 좋았고 집도 너무 크고 좋았어요! 요가 출장 서비스도 있어서 페이 지불하고 신청하였고, 숙소도 프라이빗하고 좋았어요! 일행이 말벌에게 쏘여서 약이 필요했는데 빠르게와서 대처해주셨어요! 다만, 에어컨때문에 2번방을 선택했는데, 에어컨이 있는 방은 눅ㄱ눅하고 친구가 보호지않았둠 또륵 그래서 에어컨이 아닌데서 잤는데 생각보다 쾌적했어요 근데 개울음소리가 엄청나서 새볔에 계속 깨긴ㄴ는했넹 ㅠㅠ 그거말고는 크고 생각보다 청결하고 틴덜한 숙소였어요!

Awesome place to stay if you want to detach from social media and the internet. It’s considered to be extremely clean for a place that is semi outdoors. Our initial concern was whether it would be super hot. But because the place is up on top of a hill it’s quite cooling. I would say it was a perfect one night stay. The only thing I can think of that was missing in my criteria was house slippers but then again that’s me being OCD and also it’s technically an outdoors place.

Wonderful accommodation in beautiful nature. It looks even better in person than in the photos. I definitely recommend it if you want to experience an authentic stay in connection with nature. The first night, when everything was quiet, we had to get used to the sound of the waterfall for a while, but then it worked like a lullaby.

Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt! Nachts fliegen die Fledermäuse durch das Haus und es gibt Geckos in verschiedenen Farben, genau so etwas wollte ich. Alles ist komplett offen. Nur die Toilette fand ich nicht so toll. Der Wasserfall gegenüber ist sehr laut (in etwa wie eine Klimaanlage auf höchster Stufe) hier braucht man aufjedenfall Oropax.

The perfect start to any holiday! We really got away from it all at this amazing place. The view and serenity is like no other! The host was great and the staff are so helpful and sweet. Coming from Australia the openness of it might indicate that insects are a problem. They are not. We didn’t get bitten by anything and there were five of us. Such an amazing experience and one we will never forget!

Lovely place for a 2-3 nights. It is a cool spot to take photos and enjoy the view. Not luxurious, but definitely unique and cool for Bali vibes.

Otroligt fint och genuint ställe, väl värt ett besök! Man ska dock vara beredd på att man bor mer utomhus än inomhus, med myror, ödlor och annat som gäster. Lite synd att grannarna kom och gungade kl 8 söndag morgon. Men som sagt, väldigt fint och speciellt.

Incredible and unique space!

A unique place to stay, beautiful abode, stunning views, huge space, integrated with nature, yet sheltered from the elements. We enjoyed our 2 night stay there with our 3 kids under 10. It was abit challenging for them at first with the lack of privacy (minimal walls and doors etc) and ants, caterpillars, geckos around and inside. But they did become used to it after a while. There are a few areas in the accommodation that aren’t that too safe young children without supervision but we managed ok without any incidents. We also found our kids got bored without a pool etc so we went to Ubud town quite abit to go to Folk and Pool, Jungle Fish etc. The driver/house keeper was very responsive and drove us into town and back , and other sights for a reasonable fee which was a huge help. The owners were very responsive to our family’s needs and shuffled bedding and furniture as needed for our young family’s configuration needs. Overall a memorable and unique experience!

Great place, great host

The bugs were really not as bad as I’ve heard from some people… I slept like a baby… their mosquito lotion is the most effective thing I have ever tried. And the swing really is the best jungle swing there is because they are directly facing a waterfall whereas the Bali swing is diagonally facing the waterfall so the pictures and views are not nearly as nice… and of course there’s no line here and I personally think the swing was actually fun, it’s not just a photo op. there is a seat belt, it’s not a full harness but it can be adjusted to your body. They have a new net bed in the trees :D The house is entirely what it looks like in the picture so with that being said yah it’s supposed to be wild and open air, just be realistic about what to expect here, I only saw ants and spiders, no mosquitos and no geckos

If you like nature & peace & quite this is a great place to stay. Really enjoyed sleeping in the open fronted room, was sent into a beautiful sleep with the sound of the river below.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from the madness we all share, you are looking at the right property. Every sunrise in the house is a reminder of how beautiful this world can be. Ubud is 15/20 minutes away. Beautiful creative vibe and so much to do within an hour radius.

We couldn't pick one vs the other so decided to book 1 night in Villa #2 and another night in #3. Both had their own unique charms. #3 is perfect for couples who value privacy as it's situated on the bottom most part of the property facing the river. Chilling on the swinging day bed was just heavenly! While #2 had the nearest access to the shared swing. Lucky for us, we didn't see anyone else use it during our stay. #2 also had an airconditioned room which was a plus for me for someone who was scared of critters and insects. To be fair - the night crawlies situation wasn't as bad as I imagined. The place is fully equipped with mosquito nets on the beds (except the airconditioned room which would've been another plus if it had one too), electric bug zapper (both wired and handheld!), bug spray and mosquito repellent lotion. We didn't go out at all during our stay bec why would you want to leave! The cook, helper, driver and host were all great! Would definitely come back here if we can!

Beautiful space with an amazing view. We had a lovely stay and felt very welcome. The communication was very easy as well. You can order a nice dinner at a local restaurant nearby, and a breakfast was included. Thank you for everything, we hope we can return sometime.

This place is a hidden gem. Truly a treehouse with spectacular views. A little far from town, so be prepared for a small village feel and bring cash. If you want to rent scooters, you can take a 30 minute ride into Ubud and sort it out in town. Only Bintangs on the menu, so we also brought our own drinks. Sunrise was very peaceful and worth the early wake up. Great value for money and a one of a kind experience.

The view from the villa is unbeatable! Waking up to birds and the sound of the river with fog over the trees is something to experience. Then, you have access to your very own swing over that beautiful landscape! The staff are kind and welcoming and help you arrange things if you need! Cependant, il manque tout de même quelques petites attentions dans le logement, tel que kit sanitaire, café et thé à disposition, peignoir, jeu de société… Situé à 20min en voiture du centre donc pas très proche, mais c’est le prix à payer pour avoir de la tranquillité avec le cadre exceptionnel.

Falling asleep to the sound of the big waterfall was so relaxing and joyful. We were kind of scared of the bugs/animals at night but it was NO problem at all, everything was just peace and harmony. Staff are very responsive and helpful! You can order food from their local place as well. Would definitely go again!

There is such a beautiful energy at Zen Hideaway - this is where you really get the experience the true beauty and zen of Bali. From the time we made the booking to when we checked out, Sumimasen and their welcome team were so lovely and helpful! For a truly beautiful and unique experience, we highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely Zen. Simple yet gently sophisticated. If looking for a relatively remote and relaxing location with insanely beautiful views, then highly recommend Zen Hideaway #2. Be mindful that other guests may use the swing which is just in front of the house on a lawn. Just like many outdoor focused properties, ants or bugs may be your guests but so are birds which occasionally zip in and out. Would definitely return!

The house is exactly as described… it was beautiful! The host answered all my questions quickly and the property managers were so sweet and accommodating! What a dream it was staying here!

It is true: it’s a once in a lifetime experience! We stayed with our family for 2 nights and that was perfect. Nice house, perfect view, the swing was great. Absolutely recommended!

Amazing Place with stunning View! We didn‘t want to leave.

There are no words to describe how incredible this place is as you walk in - WOW wow wow. We were absolutely awestruck and couldn’t believe it! Bring some strong insect repellant and go in knowing that you’re sleeping in the elements and you’ll be fine! The bed nets were great at night and we had no problems. Wake up for sunrise! Incredible. Also wise to bring some snacks (or drinks) with you if you’re arriving later. The food you can purchase is also great. Communication was excellent and pak was amazing in helping us arrange what we needed. Note that it’s 30 mins from Uluwatu town, but worth it for the stay. Can’t wait to go back.

숙소에서 펼쳐지는 광경은 정말 돈이 아깝지 않았고, 처음해보는 아주 좋은 경험이었습니다. 벌레 걱정을 많이 했는데, 8월 건기 시즌이라 그런지 모기는 없었고 사람을 불편하게 하는 벌레도 없었습니다. 다만 공기가 좀 습한 지역이다 보니 민감한 사람은 잠을 잘때 불편할 수도 있습니다. 벌레가 걱정이라면 그 부분은 크게 걱정하지 않아도 됩니다. 저는 꼭 다시 방문하겠습니다.

Stunning location, very calm and peacful

What a find! Let me start by saying the team is great at responding to your questions or concerns. Help us before, during and after our stay. The house it’s in Ubud with amazing views. Open concept with nature all around. The mosquito nets around the beds are of great help. I would suggest closing them around the bed ASAP to avoid any creatures/mosquitos from getting in. Surrounded by locals and exposure to their culture! Had no problems. We were met by two very nice and helpful ladies who showed us around the house and were able to get us food. Highly recommended.

Excellent space with great views. This is a tranquil area. Do not expect a hustling bustling experience as you are remote and away from everything. I suggest making sure you purchase beers drinks and some snacks for the location. You can use gojek for food delivery which we did. Wifi is available and the area is excellent for some rest and relaxation.

It was a really nice stay. The whole place is huge just for the two of us, definitely perfect for a family holiday. We don't need to pay extra for the bali swing it is private just for the guests and you can swing as many as you want without a queue! Recommended!

Beautiful location, very nice house with an incredible view. Very good communication, we were very well received. The only negative point would be related to the swing that is shared. Indeed, it is not a problem that this is the case, except at a time when instagram takes over people's lives. We found ourselves attending photography sessions with drone, gopro, camera and others, for 1h30 in the evening at sunset and 1h30 in the morning when we woke up... We had no real intimacy and we didn't really feel at home and comfortable. It is not really the problem of the house, but rather the respect, sharing and understanding of the people around, but it can still spoil your stay

Amaaazing property! With Bali swing right on the property. Little issues with finding cabs to places but overall a worthwhile stay.

A truly unforgettable experience! Be prepared to wake up in paradise each morning and also leave your hotel expectations at home. This is a jungle experience, so expect spiders, geckos, and nature's best to roam in and out. It honestly adds to the experience! The swing has unbelievable views with your naked eye and through a camera lens. I stayed here by myself (all 3 bedrooms) for 3 days and it was so worth it. Also be sure to do ATV rides nearby. Overall, I'll be staying again and bringing friends next time!

little far from ubud but quiet and the sound of waterfall puts you to sleep

#2 villa is absolutely incredible. You have the swing right out the front of the villa from the door step. I slept in the study because it’s the only room with walls and a door and aircon. So if you don’t like bugs this isn’t for you but if you like camping and want the best swing all to yourself definitely stay here. The kitchen is awesome and has everything you need for a few nights stay. The views are incredible too.

That was amazing time! View and property are outstanding! Way better than in photographs. If you are looking for luxury that’s not your place but if you admire conception of minimalism and Japanese simple aesthetics (wabi-sabi) than you will be thrilled. House is 150 years old and has history. Staff were supernice and helpful. We couldn’t expect more and loved every single minute in this venue. In the end extended our stay for one more night :) Would be happy to come back for more peace & harmony which is Zen

Very cool, uncommon place. Awesome view! Great swing experience! Place for real meditation and have zen:) But with little baby it’s very hard to stay here. Plus mosquitoes. And it’s not like in hotel, it’s like village house, very close to nature. But I never saw places like that, it’s sure worth to visit it. For European people one day could be enough:)

Pls wake up earlier to enjoy ur private sunrise a day before ur day tour. Here u can really enjoy 7 stars facilities n very budget rate. The staffs are all hospitals. U will feel every joyful minutes is so short to pass away! Would enjoy the whole galaxy of stars in the night. Pls prepare ur own coffee or beer and music. Without drinks n musics u would feel everything is fine except for one small defect.

Booked Zen #2 Scenery Best in Ubud (better scenery that you can see from kupu Kupu barong, Mandapa, etc...) Bedroom The sheets are clean and smells really good. There is a loud Harmankardon onyx4 speaker that can be connected by Bluetooth. Free Bali swing 7/24 If you want to go site seeing in Bali this isn’t the place you should be booking ( impossible to leave the house since it’s too confy)

Everything was perfect.

Zen Hideaway #2 is just magical! The views are way more unreal than in pictures and the whole place is beautiful. If you’re traveling with a bigger group of people there’s only one room with airconditioning. Two of the others only have fans so it may get bit warm during the nights. But this was expected since the house is an open jungle dream. We really loved it here!

Incredible place!! As the other reviews have also mentioned this place is amazing. The views, ambience and outdoor vibe is unmatched. You have your own private swing in the backyard and the housekeepers (live across the street) were very friendly. Only downside is not much food options around if you don’t order from their chef. They helped us set up a driver into Ubud when we needed though.

Great stylish place with an absolutely amazing view! We came a bit earlier before check in and the host quickly resolved this problem and let us in with a welcome coconut drink. All was easy and comfortable. Clean and accurately as described.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It’s everything you could dream of when you think of a treehouse. And the hospitality was a complete bonus. PAC was so accommodating and just the sweetest. We didn’t want to leave!

This place is absolutely unique and everyone should stay there if possible! We really enjoyed our time there, especially the private swing was amazing. Hosts were super nice, checkbreath in was easy and quick. And the breakfast we got was prepared by the hosts directly in the Villa. It was simple but sufficient and with a breathtaking view over the valley!

Wow, this exceeded our expectations!! The google maps GPS for “Zen Hodeaway” is accurate, once you reach a grass covered parking area with two doors, you’ve arrived. The view is breathtaking, private swing is awesome, and everything else you could want is available for great photos and relaxation! Highly recommend before it’s too popular!

Zen Hideaway is a magical experience away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Truly beautiful setting to simply relax in nature, which there is no shortage of so if you don’t like insects then this definitely isn’t the place for you! Having the swing practically all to yourself is also a highlight

Sehr tolle Unterkunft mit unglaublichen Ausblick. der Haushund kommt manchmal in der früh vorbei ist aber ein bissl scheu. Unterkunft ist zwar an der Straße aber man hört davon nichts. Die anderen Bewohner nutzen ebenfalls die Schaukel die im Garten ist, stört nicht ist allerdings erstreckend zu sehen wie viele Leute extra lange wehende Kleider mitnehmen damit die Fotos auf der Schaukel besonders toll aussehen. Wären gerne länger dort gewesen, Massagen sind super und die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannend.

This place was absolutely breathtaking. If you're ok being exposed to nature and some peace and quiet this is the place for you. I stayed here with 3 of my girlfriends and we all wished we had a few more days. The host and housekeepers were easy to communicate with and very attentive to our requests. LOVED IT!

wonderful design, decoration and scenery. there is one room with air con and the rest is semi outdoor, the temperature was reasonable in June, but expect some humid and damp linens.

The property is like nothing else. It's like living in a treehouse. There's two stories with hammocks, a kitchen, and a swing! An extra special touch is when we arrived the hostess opened up a coconut for everyone and showed us how to use the swing. Once in a lifetime experience. Truly amazing.

Omg. This air bnb was beautiful. Highly recommend getting up early to watch sunrise. There were yoga mats so that we were able to do yoga in the morning. Also we had food delivered from their menu and it was delicious and quick service. The swing was right in front of the air bnb so you will get visitors in the front yard. We only saw two people the whole time. We were picked up from airport and it was smooth and easy! Wayan’s team is amazing! Every room had a beautiful view that made you stop and enjoy.

A place so unique, never wanted to leave 👌🏻

This is a truly special place, can't recommend it enough. Our family of 5 had plenty of space. Our kids (11,14&14) LOVED the swing. The other 2 rentals on the property have access to the swing, it was not a bother at all. The outdoor living space was well laid out and well appointed with everything we needed. Wayan and his wife are wonderful hosts! So helpful! From helping order food, arranging massages and giving us rides in and out of Ubud as well as back to Jimbaran at a very reasonable fee, they were wonderful. There is a small warung just across the street as well as a few small stands/stores for snacks and necessary items within a 5-minute walk. The commercial Bali Swing operation just up the street can be loud, but never lasted long. If anything, it was very entertaining to watch/listen to. We were glad to have booked the Zen Hideaway for 2 nights, it gave us a great opportunity to really enjoy it. I am not sure I would have wanted to stay there if our kids were much younger than 7; mostly because I would not have been able to relax with the stairs, open railings and concrete floors. I don't think I am overly protective. It is worth considering if you have young travelers with you, especially if they do not mind well.

If you have the chance to book this villa, do it! I was lucky to get to spend one night in this super amazing place. Unique, very natural, views are amazing, overall amazing. The staff are also so friendly and will help out as much as possible to make the stay comfortable. I wish I could spend one more night there.

很有特色的房子，风景非常好，就在秋千景点旁边，可以看见那边排队荡秋千，我们这边自己的大秋千玩到爽～景色也比那边景点的好，唯一不足的就是因为整栋房子是完全开放式，所以晚上蚊虫会比较多，但是房子里却没有准备驱蚊水，幸好我们有自带，所以没有被蚊子咬，建议房东可以准备几瓶驱蚊水放在房子里就完美了！

i had a wonderful night here～the scene is so wonderful here，and the housekeepers are all very kind and also helpful.But the location is not very good，a little far away from the Ubud center.I could recommend it to all my friends，and the next time i visit Ubud i will stay there again！

This was the most unique airbnb I’ve ever lived in! We woke up with an incredible sunrise and view, felt like we were living in nature. The swing was so fun to play with, def worthy and much better than the Bali swings nearby. The food was delicious as well. Would recommend if you’re looking for an unique and adventurous experience.

The view was extraordinary and the host was very helpful :) I read a lot of comments about the bugs but it was better than I thought. It would be better if the villa had a totally insect-free area(room) covered with glasses like some hotel do, but overall the staying in the Zen Hideaway was an awesome experience.

The Zen Hideaways are absolutely breathtaking—beautiful spaces totally open to the natural lushness of the area, plus of course that fantastic swing! We rented two of the hideaways for our group and had a wonderful time, though needed some fans for the upstairs rooms during the high heat and humidity of rainy season. But there is nothing like waking up to that incredible jungle river view! (However, if you’re looking for silence or privacy, this isn’t the place for you. There aren’t many proper walls in the houses, you can hear absolutely everything, including the shrieking from the “Bali swing” compound next door—but also the sounds of the waterfall and nature!) Pak Wayan was wonderful and so helpful for our entire trip. Very reachable and eager to help. We loved our stay, and it was a great reflection of the whole vibe of Ubud. (Another note: the villa is about a 25-minute drive into the central area of ubud, which is about a 150K rupiah taxi.) Loved our stay, but also pay attention to the details when booking so you’re not surprised by some of the more rustic details!

Amazing place. The swing is the best in the area, maybe the best in the world for views. Note that only one bedroom has air conditioning. The other two bedrooms are open air but have mosquito nets and are cuter. The garden area (lots of grass) was immaculate. New villas are being built to the right on the river but they do not detract from the view. You can see many other swings in the nearby Bali Swing but I think everyone is jealous of the one at Zen Hideaway 2. Thanks Wayan for your hospitality.

Another great experience at Zen Hideaway. I previously stayed at Zen #3 and later moved to Zen #2. Everything was absolutely fabulous, the huge huge house felt a luxury, super well equipped kitchen, lovely surroundings!!! And the best and loveliest housekeepers. I’ll be returning :-)

秋千很赞，就在房门口，还是免费的，附近有个公园，里面的秋千是收费的，这点很划算，附近没有什么吃东西的地方，只能点餐，不过食物很实惠可口，淋浴露天，房屋露天，跟大自然很接近，很适合度假

Die Unterkunft ist der Hammer. Die ersten paar Minuten ist man einfach nur sprachlos wegen der Aussicht! Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Ubud aber mit dem Roller erreicht man seine Ziele dennoch gut. Es ist ein ziemlich offenes gestaltest Haus deswegen trifft man hier und da mal ein Paar Geckos an. Ebenso wie sämtliche Natur Geräusche verleihen dem Haus etwas ganz besonderes. Die Gastfreundschaft der Betreuer ist ebenfalls sehr gut, man kann bei ihnen alles bestellen was man benötigt oder brauch z.b Essen und Trinken oder einen Roller.
